I think something needs to be cleared up

Jr said at the meeting the permits were in - I think someone took that to mean he had the permits. In permit speak that means they have been submitted for approval to the building department.

Jr can clear this up - but I took what he said to mean he had submitted the permits not that he had them in hand.

This was the first time I had seen Parcel 24 and I was impressed - lots of potential.

Click the "Search" button on the left side of the screen.

Enter the TMK# 91013040 , in the "Search by TMK" field, click on "Search"

"Total found 1" screen comes up. Move the pointer over the TMK number and click on it.

Below the "Property Info" area there's a link for "Building permit info" , click on it.

And "voile"

No building permits meeting the criteria you entered were found. Please try again.

Sorry if I wasn't clear on the permits....At this stage the permits are being submitted for stockpiling/screening of the dirt, and for grading. The engineers have already been at the property and the contractor is monitoring the status. We will let everyone know when the permit is in hand, as we will have an official groundbreaking ceremony.

Man, looks like Jr's getting busted left and right. No permits, says he did months ago. Now says he's getting them to move dirt. I don't think it's goes that way and is that easy, not according to the costruction guys I talked to. And CT guys will be racing in August? Maybe, Les you know a lot more than we think. BTW, uncool, the cop action at the meeting. Somebody said it was for FS and ES cause he kicked them off the property. Geez.

Ok Leo, seeing that you are now a spokesperson for Les as well as the Souza's, let me try to make this as simple to understand as possible.

I DO NOT have the PERMITS in hand. The CONTRACTOR and ENGINEERS are handling that. They will be doing all the submitting and handling the communications pertaining to the permit process. As they know that time is of the essence and that this is for the racers, they are working on it to get it done as quickly as possible. I have asked them to let me know if there are any problems and when the permits are ready.

Until then, I trust that it is in efficient hands, and will not be a nuisance and bug them about it.

And you can tell Les, that if he's a nice guy, I might even get him an Application #. But, seeing that might not be easy for Les to be that, I don't know.....

It takes some 6 months to get a permit after it is applied for. If DHHL "DOES NOT" renew the lease in June . . . . Hmmmmmm, isn't August after JUNE :confused: :confused:

What happen to the "Humble" in George? The dirt guy is asking a good question. For all us guys that didn't go, we'd like to see the plans for the CT, too. Seems like it would be a good thing to do for people who just want to know what is your next plan. Right? 1 ) You can't go before the Kapolei NHB until you go before the HCDA.

2 ) You can't go before the HCDA unless you get DHHL to accompany you.


3 ) DHHL said they won't. You are on your own

4 ) You need to move the dirt as per DPP's request BUT DHHL said no movment ( Can't bring in anymore dirt or move what is there ) until you get all the paper work taken care of.

IIRC, "local guys" won the big event and the championship points and got their pro licenses out of it. The entry fees were less than what you'd pay for a mainland event. And hey at least the drifters got "some" events, where most of the racers got nothing. Like for example, the Christmas race with the $10,000 purse that never happened (Jr's event).

Like I said before, you have unique talents. You are very good at what you do with the Punishum show and all your camera action. And I am not a promoter. I don't recognize myself as a promoter. But I believe if you listen to what people want, and you work with them to deliver, the rest will fall into place. You don't have to be a promoter to do that.

You should stick to what you know best. That has gotten you far in life. You are definitely not a promoter or a person that listens to the racers. You absolutely have no promotional skills. It showed in your drift events. And we supported you because you needed help. We supplied whatever we could, as far as toilets, bleachers, sponsorships, because it was for the racers.

Racing promotions is a tough game and unless you've done it for MANY years you'll never know how hard it is.

Debating the facts from either side is commendable "BUT" having to come down to the level of lies and mud slinging about ones beliefs or how they care for others like being Foster parents is not cool.

The Souzas as see you can see "BY Their Action (s)" ( as the bible says, Judge one by their actions and deeds NOT by here say ) ARE caring individuals that have given to the community and not just "Scorch the Earth" like what we now have AGAIN before us.
