The revving and racing stopped two years ago. Now a former spot for speeding is up for sale. A Los Angeles company bought the 66 acres of land back when Kapolei closed the raceway in 2006, but plans to developed it into spaces for 90 businesses fell through. So now its back on the market. PM realty group says its one of the largest available parcels of its kind in West Oahu. The realtors will not say how much its asking for the land, but the LA company paid $13 million in 2006. According to tax records it's worth about twice that much now.
