Went to the Ron's car show today. Great job. Paul Maddox and Ron Uemura the 2 brain trusts behind this 1st Annual 4th of July stadium event. With the help from those like Louis Ilac of Lex Brodies, 448 cars and thousands showed up. You couldn't beat it. Great weather, Free Monster drinks, vendors from the mainland like Milodon, Auto Meter, etc and the awesome cars from ole rods to pimpin trucks and classics. Great new concept to Hawaii but to have all the vehicles from ALL the various classes paraded all of their vehicles around the stadium so you got to hear as well as see them in action.
Word has it that coordinators of the Ron's event had wanted to post up a eflyer poster of the event on FH and Kitchens as the moderator would not allow it. And Kitchens was talking smack as well as spreading ill will and arrogance towards the Ron's event like you would to a sworn enemy and acting like Mike Kitchen's is the only game in town with your wrangling ( BSing others ) into being the coordinator for the Pearl Harbor event on this great holiday, the 4th of July. The military is always a GREAT one to support but Mike your arrogance and hostile tactics are just like those of all the BAD leaders you have teamed up with in the past and support now. It is true as the saying, "Birds of a Feather . . . "
FYI, Slick, Guys like Louis and others had all volunteered to help the Pearl event long before you arrived. And by the way, the shows they did before was BIGGER than you could ever imagine. How many cars did you have at Aloha Tower and today at Pearl combined? Wan't no 448, 4 sure, 4 sure, BOY :p
Having car shows at the Aloha Tower were 80% of the crowd are tourist and taking over a military car show and making it into another MOMAC deal does you no good. It is the locals that you need to convince of your ponzy scheme but even those at the Lunch Bunch saw through your tall tales and shut you down. All you can convince are the wayward and unintelligent with IQs less than a 40. And since you have a 41, I guess that qualifies you to mislead and deceive.
Ron's is an established store here in Hawaii long before you were even born Mike. You come from the mainland and don't EVEN have a clue and you keep making enemies all along the way. YOU don't just burn the bridge, you Zorch Them  Just like all of the other misleading wanna be leaders you decided to follow that all went into or are headed to the proverbial DITCH.
You have never contributed anything other than to create chaos and mess things up.
Always remember what I told you and all the others that are ALWAYS backing the wrong horses and causing all of this
GRIEF and PROBLEMS and CHAOS "There will not be ANY ticker tape parade for ANY of you when the smoke clears."
My suggestion to you INSURGENTS is to take up fishing or golf.
And HAVE A WONDERFUL LIFE :D :D

First off, Mike isn't a moderator on Forums Hawaii. He has no authority there.
Mike runs www.hawaiitalks.net There is an "eflier" on Hawaii Talks for the Aloha Stadium show... http://hawaiitalks.net/showthread.php?t=37513 BTW, "ZOOM" (the guy who posted the flier) is Paul Maddox.
Also check his posts on Hawaii Performance Mustangs and Paradise Cruisers. He never once dogged on the Aloha Stadium.
You're right that Louis did a great job on the Pearl Harbor show in the past, but he was tired of it. So he passed it on to someone else. He even approached Paradise Cruisers to run it. Ask him.
You're also right that Paul Maddox is a great guy. No arguing that point.
Maybe you should have checked your souces before posting that other ignorant BS, Mr. Jounalist. There never was a competition between the 2 shows. They're geared towards different demographics. Only petty tyrants with inferiority complexes need to see competition where there is none.

Well as always, everyone else is lying and all you clowns from MOMAC are the saints. Is that it?
And yeah, I checked my sources and you should quit believing liars. I admire your boldness to come and back up your buddy but as always, you chose wrong, again.
The source that gave me the information is more stand up then you'll ever be. So go back under that rock you crawled out from under. The sunlight must be killing you right now.
And again, better check your complexes and look at the track record as to who is inferior.

I stated my sources and posted links to support them, they're there for everyone to see. Your story just doesn't jive with public facts. I don't hide behind empty "he said she said" rumors, I post proof. You sound like Less. State your source if it's so reliable.
As far as a track record goes, every group out there right now is in the same boat pissing into the same wind. Some have chosen to row together to try and get somewhere while a few keep trying to attack them and every effort.
Going back under my rock now. I have a mortgage and car payment to earn.

Since when have you or any clown from OMAC ever stated any facts other than heresay and bs ? ? ?
Reveal the source, he is "VERY" well respected within the motorsports community and if he said what transpired, you can take it to the bank.
He even said that he thought you were a cool guy even after all of this. Shows he's a bigger man than any of you could ever hope to become.
And by the way, why did Kitchens edit his post then ? ? ?

You know Les, it must be really hard for you to not know what's going on. You see, everyone knows that the less you know the less trouble you can cause. You'd be very surprise who's supporting the project.
You talk about Mike and Tom laughing at Jr? You're so funny!!! Didn't you previously accuse Jr and Mike of working together? You need to go back and refresh your memory. As for P9, we know where that is and as for HRP, it's too early to tell. Are you going to buy it? Gonna mortgage your home and business for the betterment of the racing community. I didn't think so. You are so quick to criticize everyone out there and yet look at you....
If SORT (non-profit) is going to do something about HRP, more power to them. My main concern is KRP. Whether it's temporary or not, I'm looking for something for now.
And your crack about Jr not being able to buy a house, you had better do more research. We own over 15 acres of land with houses on them and we had recently acquired a nice piece of property in Kapolei. So, get your facts straight before you start mouthing off.
P.S. Oh yeah, don't forget the two houses on the outer islands.

Geez Les, I can almost see the pout on your face when you posted this. Stop acting like the ugly step-child.
Someone sent me this link, and I'd just like to clear this up for everyone that's reading this. I've got no problems with Paul or Louis. They know what's up. That's all that matters. If you have questions, feel free to call ME or them directly.
FYI: Louis HANDED the reigns over to me, and even helped me with the setup of the first PH show. I was a volunteer for Louis with the Blues on the Bay show, and worked the gate on the setup and event days for him. I have no beef with him, and he doesn't with me.
Second, I've known Paul M. as an acquaintance for the past two years. He helped me advertise the first BTT show. My link to Hawaii Talks is on his site, as is his link to Motorhead Magazine. I helped him get the word out on the local web about the EIS for the Kona track. I made sure he could post on HT about the July 4th Hot Rod Picnic, which involved resetting his password, and activating his account, as well as attaching the filer for it (which is why it's EDITED IN JUNE). I know his history, and his reputation in the automotive and motorsports community, and there's no way in hell I would try to compete or challenge that. I don't own FH, nor am I a moderator there, either.

Ok, Jeanette. We heard it from many people that Jr was having breakfasts with Jokeland.
Who do you have now? The Easter Bunny and Santy Clause?
And isn't that why Franklin helped you guys out by painting one of your houses to get a loan for P 24 but the bank rejected the request?
We know from documents that Colleen had drawn up the paperwork for the transfer of Pueo from JS to Jr. And a deal to get the dirt guys ( Circle Track ) a place which is P 24 in exchange that you guys support P 9. Which as we both know P 9, which has been and always will be a joke because it is "NEVER" happening and that is the same song Jokeland has been singing for nearly 20 years . . . 20 YEARS.
Now everyone knows you gotta be outta your mind to sink SOOOooo much money into p 24 for something that is only temporary. SOOOoooo temporary that the lease can be pulled at a moments notice, or in this case 30 days notice.
The extension on the city violations for the dirt dumping expires this Sunday and we know as of yesterday, you guys have not "EVEN" filed for the permits.
Too bad you didn't attend the HCDA meeting last week because you would have heard from Micah's own mouth that you guys are going to have to "HAVE" an Enviromental Assesment, which as you know is also required when you apply for your city permits.
In your guys case, to settle a existing violation which will have steep daily fines.
Actually, I think you guys are amazed at how much we do know, thus the redirection.

And that the info Jr. is putting out there (like him saying he had the permits already, or that the track would be done in August, or the layout that's not even on the property and covers archaeological sites) is invalid.
But I can see why you all have chosen to be quiet. There's no progress to report, and any more bullshitting is gonna get called.
And for the record, this is what's going on at P24:
1. No permits have been applied for yet.
2. The extended deadline to obtain permits or remove the dirt is next week.
(or face the $1,000 per day fine)
3. The Director has stated in this months HCDA meeting that an EIS will be required for the project and has not been submitted yet.

Well Good Morning Tracy.... You know I had tossed the idea of coming back on this forum back and forth and I really didn't want to post here. Especially knowing that I would be stepping on shit and getting it from all angles from you folks. But I had enough of the crap that you and your posse have been throwing at Jr. Let me ask you....what the hell did he do to you? He had always helped you when you asked and for what? Did he charge you? NO!!! Did he require you to pay back a favor? NO!!! You guys are a joke.... just too much....and you know what? Even though you get your little kicks out of slamming him down, he just laughs it off and says that he loves the entertainment of this forum.
What I'd like to know is why would it be a big issue if Jr had any kind of meals with Mike? You like to claim that you get your facts straight, but you are so delusional it's sad. He had one meeting with Mike at Zippys, years ago and now he's having breakfasts with him. Boy, what's next? You must be getting your info from the Tooth Fairy.
And you know what? You are correct about Franklin painting one of our houses. In fact, he did a very good job too. But this was for our refi and this was way before P24 even became an issue. And he didn't do this for free, we paid him for it. And if the loan didn't come through, then how were we able to buy the house on the outer island? Oh but wait....didn't Les say that Jr couldn't afford to buy a house? Tsk tsk tsk.....such bad information you guys have. But then again, what do you know about buying and owning a house, you still live at home with your parents. Maybe you need to pay the Tooth Fairy more than quarters to get the information.
P9....ha ha ha ha ha.....you guys are really worried about it, arent you? P9 was good dream, but it's not happening. But, I wouldn't say that it couldn't happen, if you know what I mean. Whatever business transaction Jr has regarding Pueo, has nothing to do with P9, P24 or any other "P" you can think of. You see, Jr is recognized for his business skills and talents. Too bad you can only see what the voices in your head tell you to.
Don't worry about P24 being temporary. We all knew that from the very beginning. That's what we had set out to get. A temporary site for the racers, while a permanent one is sought after. You're not at risk if this doesn't happen. And when it does, you are still invited to come and race. And as for the permits.....shhhhhhh.....I know something that you don't. SO...NO WOOOORRYYYY!!!!
In fact.....don't worry about anything....all you guys need to do is keep the forums going. I like coming home and reading all the drama that goes on here. Sometimes I get tired of the sitcoms on TV. We will do whatever needs to be done to be in compliance with the City & State.

You know Les, you and Tracy are the same. You guys are intelligent and knowledgable and yet you choose to take the negative road towards the racers getting a race track. You like to go on and on and on about how you say the Jr said that he had the permits. What you failed to hear Jr say was that it was being addressed. As far as I know, that is totally two different things. I guess it's selective hearing you guys have.
We have chosen to be quiet as you say, for the main purpose that there is information that is on a need to know basis and you know where you're at. It's obvious that anything we say will be twisted and slapped down. You are sooooo good at that. First is was MO and now it's Jr. Who's next?
And as for the permits, like I told Tracy....NO WOOOORRRRYYYY!!!! And as for the fines....I have been in contact with the City and I know what needs to be done. Seeing that you want to be all up-close-and-personal and into my business. I wouldn't apply for a loan that I couldn't get and the reason why we rented the house in Maili was because the rent was sooooo cheap. And the house had sentimental value. There was alot of history with that house that you would never know or understand. Such wonderful togetherness! SOOOOOO much has been accomplished since this wonderful new marriage! lol
You got nothing.
No silly boy.....it's about togetherness alright, but it's a marriage of a group of people that are able to work together to establish the end result of the racers coming together on a race track (temporary or not) and having what we so missed.....RACING!!!
Unlike your togetherness/marriage of your group that has a vendetta against us and will stop at nothing to stop or delay our goal to make this all happen.

Yes please, don't forget to be friendly to MO and all his supporters. You need their support for P24.
Forget all the people that joined SORT to save HRP. Jr gets to be King of the dirt pile. And when everyone finally realizes that nothing will happen there, you can always blame it on us. :D
Don't worry about P24 being temporary. We all knew that from the very beginning. That's what we had set out to get. A temporary site for the racers, while a permanent one is sought after.
Hey Jeanette, I have one question for you; I know that Franklin and Evelyn had alot of money invested in P24, not that it is any of my business, but being that they are no longer involved with P24, do they get their money back being they were "screwed" out of this deal? If you choose not to answer, I'll understand.

It seems like it's you guys that forgot about the people that joined SORT to save HRP. It's obvious that you guys forgot about them when you all decided to vote a new board of directors. You never did answer that question about who voted you all in. Not that I care and all. It's just that there were some people that had asked me about it. I asked them if they were called for the vote and they said they new nothing about that. It must have been by secret ballot.
You and your group seem to have forgotten waaaaay back when we were on the same page that we were still supporting the return of HRP and at the same time wanting to find another site that we could use temporarily for the racers to play on. Not everyone can afford to go to the mainland or outer island.
All you guys cared about was that there was alot of dirt at KRP and that there wasn't any profit from it. The profit was that there would be a race track built.
And it was YOU that had put Jr. on the top of the "mountain of dirt". You had proclaimed him to be "King George". Too bad your soooo transparent that we can all hear the jealousy in your voice. For what....I don't know. You had your chance at the Makakilo meeting to state that you wanted to be the one in charge. Everyone did. But, no one stepped forward and said that they wanted to make it happen. Just those that wanted to point out about "where's my $$$$$$$".
Funny how some people's chain of actions can change when $$$$$ get's involved and yet all of a sudden their motives change. So quick to criticize now, when in the past, they were sooooo supportive.

The Souza's were not being screwed out of the deal. Evelyn was told to straighten out and correct the mistake she made with the business registration. She didn't feel that it was necessary. They were upset that they couldn't charge the truckers a dump fee like they did when they ran the race track. Jr told them numerous times they couldn't do that and then offered to reimburse Franklin for any of the expenses they had paid for. Which wasn't that much. He didn't want that. He wanted to profit off the hauling of the dirt.
I don't know what other expenses they paid out, since they were getting rent money from Grucci with the bogus lease agreement they made them sign.

I can tell you that money went for fencing material, telephone poles, water meter hook-up and some electrical wiring. First of all, if you're going to respond to my posts, you should have the deciency to reveal yourself. Just by the words you use, I can pretty much tell you you are. You don't know a thing about business, that's obvious. Any kind of intelligent person would know that in order to have a operational race track you would need equipment (water truck, grader, roller, backhoe/loader, etc.) I sure as hell didn't see no one else providing this for the track. At the numerous meetings we had, we had discussed the pieces of equipment Jr was able to get. You guys were all good with that. We do have some equipment (lights, bleachers to name a few) that was donated to the cause. And we greatly appreciate that and we have offers from others to donate other things as well. But, not everything will be handed to us on a silver platter. We do have to get it ourselves and what Jr did was plan from way back and start rounding it up.
You hide behind your screen name and talk all kind of smack and yet you're too chicken shit to come out as yourself. The leeward side is a small town and word does get back at what you are going around saying. And yes, talk is cheap...so what have you done lately? Going around trying to bad mouth Jr won't work. You see, all the racers want is a track to race on. If not built by Jr, then anyone would do. If you think that you are sooo much better than us, then please go for it....

Leo, Evelyn or whomever you are today.... You like to talk like you were involved in this process. When I submitted the proposal to DHHL is was under Save Oahu's Race Tracks LLC. That was no mistake. There were reasons why I did it that way and the Souza's know this. There were also discussions about the non-profit, which we had discussed who would be handling that part. Evelyn knows who I'm talking about too, cause she tried to contact him too. So, the mistake was when the papers were submitted to DCCA. And it was no biggie....Evelyn could have had it corrected, but, as I had said earlier, she saw no need for that.
The Souza's knew about the dirt and the hauling of the dirt. We talked about it at my office, at the restaurant and on the phone. If this wasn't hawaiian home land and we were paying for the dirt and hauling, then I could see charging for a dump fee. But it is and and the dirt and hauling was free, so it would have been wrong to charge. The truckers that provided the service, got paid from the contractor....THAT'S BUSINESS!!!! Unless I'm wrong, fuel, labor, insurance, taxes, tires, oil, etc...is not free. Those are expenses that come out of the companies that were providing the hauling. Not to mention the equipment at the track (dozer/loader, water truck, labor) also had expenses. You fools think that the money just goes into someone's pocket. You had better think again.
I have never turned against anyone. There were things that had to be corrected and if the Souza's couldn't do it, then we had to. It greatly saddened me when things turned bad. I had truly enjoyed Evelyn and Franklin's friendship. They are good people. Despite what people told me, I saw them for what they were and I thought all was good. I still believe that they are good people, but I don't like what they are doing. To be all supportive in getting the racers a track and then going to meetings and telling different organizations that this is no good and that we are destroying the land? Come on....what's that all about? Why don't you ask Evelyn about how she called my insurance agent and tried to get the insurance policy into her name, being sent to her address? What about the secret meeting with the tenants to get them to sign a bogus lease and collect monies from them? She may have paid rent to DHHL for those few months and that is her signature on the check (she was the only one authorized to sign), but what about the rest?
So, all in all....I see it for what it is.

The idea of this forum was to have a place where anyone interested can go to get factual information. Unfortunately, the "Propaganda Sites" did not allow factual information to be presented. Jr said last year there would be a Christmas race with a $10,000 purse. Didn't happen. He said in the Feb. DHHL meeting there would be asphalt down at P24 in 6 months. It's been 6 months, there's no asphalt. Jr said at the last "Stock Car " meeting @ P24 that the track would be ready in August. Well, it's gonna be August in a few weeks and the permits STILL have not even been applied for yet. The truth is that it would be at least 2 more years IF P24 happens at all. My guess is it won't happen.

Sorry Les....but Jr follows no ones footsteps but his own. And it's sad to see that you cannot accept the fact that OMAC has become a great asset to the project. They believe in Jr's efforts with his project and have been supportive in every way. They have some very talented people that have done alot so far. So, why don't you just get over it and accept the fact that OMAC is helping with the project. And it seems to me that they only people that don't believe in Jr's efforts with the project is your group. The rest of the people are patienly waiting. You see, this is the only game in town.
The reason why we didn't have the Christmas race was because the contractor was going back and forth with DPP, trying to determine whether we needed the permits or not. And the delays we're having now is because of certain individuals that want to be childish and create obstacles. You were at that February meeting and yes, Jr did mention that it would take about 6 months to get asphalt at P24....but like I said this was before the certain individuals decided to make it their life goal to see this project fail, whichever way possible. You can refresh Evelyn's memory and tell her that the $10k she's referring to went to the Brand Stragedy Group for the radio announcements and website. We told them that we would pay for it and she said that she had to wait until after they refinanced her son's house before they could pay anything. The contractor mentioned that if the permits required bonding, to would cost $10k. That is something that the contractor would be paying for, not us..... That is their contribution to the project.
And why would I have to pay them anything anyway? When we made shirts, signs, food, etc. It was for the cause. Not something that we would be looking to get reimbursed for. It was for the racers and the racing community. To be looking to get reimbursed makes me look at their whole motives in doing this in a different light. I told Evelyn that whatever money was in the account would be for the expenses incurred and that when the track openned, then maybe we could recoup some of our expenses. And that would be after the expenses of the track was paid first.
Maybe that's the whole problem....maybe they were looking at this as an investment project.

Well we tried to get in touch with you but you never answer your phone and we didn't want to wait to 1:15am for you to check your email. You need to learn how non-profit org's work, between your very busy schedule.
Why were you trying to get in touch with me??? Let me refresh your memory as well....At the last Makakilo meeting Jr told Evelyn, Franklin and everyone there that we should vote a new board of directors right there and then, with everyone present. The Souza's didn't want that. He even told everyone that he didn't want to be on the board and I was already out.
What kind of organization are you folks running? You have members, invite them to meetings, ask them to come out and help lobby and also ask for donations and yet you don't inform them when you're electing new officers and having an election. Sounds kinda fishy to me....
You guys should have been getting in touch with the SORT members, not dishing out bs about you guys trying to get in touch with me. And FYI, I got no emails from the Souza's or SORT.

You gotta ask our cutie Secretary. She took the minutes. ;)
Seeing that your forum was for reporting information for the racing community, why not post those minutes for everyone to see? I know that that your cutie secretary has city council experience and would take thorough (accurate) minutes.
I'm sure that there were some people that didn't go to the meeting that might be interested to see them. So go post it up.....

And who are these members that you speak of? I know you're not that dumb, are you? SORT HAD 4 Founding members; who else is a member? Let me guess, all the racers are members, right? What makes you think that all the racers want to be part of an organization? I dont want to. But Franklin and Evelyn are like family to me and I will stand beside them to the end. That friendship is stronger than any track can be. No matter what you say, you are wrong and you know it.

Certainly we are not going to be posting land acquisition offers. If and when we close a deal on a piece of property it will be reported. No bullshitting from our side to try and gather up supporters.
As for the minutes, I don't have them and would not post them on a forum if I did. If you were so interested in what's going on with SORT, you shouldn't have resigned.

The contractor mentioned that if the permits required bonding, to would cost $10k. That is something that the contractor would be paying for, not us..... That is their contribution to the project.
But I thought you said the contractor was told by DPP that you didn't need permits because it was DHHL land? You wouldn't happen to have the name of the person at DPP who told you all this would you? Mr. Claus? Mr. Bunny? or perhaps it was Mr. Fairy?
And another thing, YOU WERE TOLD IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS BY DHHL back in February that this project will require permits from C&C. If you supposedly have this "contractor" and this "talented" OMAC group helping, then why have 6 months passed and the permit applications have yet to be submitted? You wanna blame that on the Souzas? Are the Souzas in charge of DPP now too?

When SORT was initially formed, there were the 4 of us. When we started having meetings with the racers and started lobbying at the Capitol and Honolulu Hale, we had asked for support. There were racers and community members that came out. They were the MEMBERS OF "SORT"! The 4 of us were the organizers. You are confused and maybe the others are too, but this has always been from the get go. When we wore the SORT shirt, we were MEMBERS! When others wanted to purchase shirts, it was because they believed in the organization and were MEMBERS! So, when Jr had asked for the new election of directors/organizers at the Makakilo meeting, where MEMBERS were present, that was why.... Seeing that you're like Les, trying to change the subject and twist things around, let me explain it as simply as possible..... focus now focus....why don't you ask your wife, I mean Evelyn, to see the SORT bylaws. It clearly explains the following:
ARTCLE II – MEMBERSHIP

I think that we had quite a membership when SORT started. I think that if you continue to say that SORT had no members except for the Grace's and Souza's, you're going to upset alot of people. Especially those that were dedicated to the cause. Those that took the time out of their daily lives to come to the meetings, the ones that came out to testify, to lobby at the capitol and at Honolulu Hale. Jeanette, do you think before you type? You are the one that is TOTALLY confused. For one, I've been in 3 non-profit organizations; 1 as a regular member, 1 as a vice president and the other as a president. So I'll just break it to you this way; 1) Bylaws are required when there is non-profit organization. 2) Non-profit organizations consists of a secretary, treasurer, sgt. of arms, vice president and president (notice 5 people; no tie breaker vote) 3) Members are voted in initially by the board members, with the president (chairman) having the last say. To make a long story short, Jr. said he wanted out of SORT, you emailed Evelyn saying that you were getting out effective immediately, so why worry about voting in a new board? 1 day before the Makakilo meeting, Jr. started SORT LLC. All this is is a conspiracy on your part to get rid of the Souzas. Oh and another thing, the President has the power to call private meetings anytime.

According to DCCA docs, the 4 of you were Directors not organizers. I don't even know what you mean by "organizers". SORT is what you call a self appointed "board only" non-profit. Supporters can make donations without being voting members. Non-profits with voting members are clearly defined (just wearing a T-shirt doesn't make you a member), and usually charge dues to become a member.
You've got the bylaws. Post up where it says that members vote for the directors. That obviously wasn't the case.

Good point Les, however the point I'm making is that who chose the positions of the members of the first group. The organization was intended to be a LLC, so that the 4 of us would be equal. And since you are posting the Bylaws, I would like to know when the first annual meeting was, because Jr and myself was not there, nor was there a 2nd annual meeting called. Was that something the the "chair" just overlooked?
The whole idea was to unite the racers and give them the chance to vote in who they wanted to lead SORT. This should not have been something that was self-appointed, the members (racer/supporters) of SORT deserved that.
BTW, the reason why I stepped out was to have you come forward and post it up. Why don't you go ahead and just post the whole thing already. That way everyone can get a clearer picture of what the SORT bylaws states.

First of all, if SORT was supposed to be an LLC (initially) why was SORT a non-profit org. filed with the DCCA over 2 years ago. And Jr. started SORT LLC March 21 2008 as him being the sole member; why aren't you on there too? Dont you want to be equal with him?

I've never heard that the organization was supposed to be an LLC until this whole thing blew up this spring. And since you guys never gave the other Directors copies of the lease, they wouldn't have heard of it either.
My understanding from the beginning was that SORT was going to follow the model of the outer island tracks with State/County owned property and a private NON-PROFIT company operating it. That was what was in the presentations to the neighborhood boards, that was what was in the business plan back in 2006. If the company was supposed to be an LLC, then somebody should have said something earlier. Also, you were emailed the annual DCCA update in 2007. In fact you were the one that reminded Evelyn to send it in. It clearly shows that the company was a non-profit with Evelyn as the chair. If you all were against that, why didn't you say something then? The non-profit structure REQUIRES a chairperson. And if the intent were to have all 4 as equals, then why does Jr's LLC list himself as the only officer, sole proprietor of the company? I think this whole "it was supposed to be an LLC" BS is just an excuse to justify Jr. starting up a new company to take full control for himself. Congratulations on that, now he can pay the dumping fines and the cost of removing the dirt by himself!
Meetings - my understanding is that the 4 of you met many times during the year on a regular basis.
And if you really wanted all the racers to vote for a leader, why didn't you do that at the first SORT meeting? Because that wasn't the plan, you 4 volunteered and appointed yourselves. Does it really make sense that an organization would be voting for a leader 2 years after its inception?
I will post the bylaws when I get a chance, and also the "Kalaeloa Permissible Use Table". I think you'll find that your new friend jury rigged the Kalaeloa Master Plan a long time ago. lol

You really think that all you have to do is 2 presentations and then you can start breaking ground??? Try completing the environmental assessment and acquiring the necessary building permits first.

What's going on is that you still don't have the required permits, and have still not provided a proper application. A "Notice of Order" was issued July 23, because your 30 day extension on the fines has run out. You are incurring a $1,000 per day fine for the illegal dumping.
