Nice rendering but you've placed the dirt circle track on top of the archaeological sites.

You should all just come out and admit to everyone that you were lying and there won't be a drag strip on the property.

KRP Phase 2

Phase 2 is the second phase to be constructed and is entirely dependant on our progress with Phase 1. The primary goal of Phase 2 is to provide additional support for 1/8th mile drag racing and to further expand the road course to a much larger and free flowing design. During this phase, the stock/dirt track will be relocated with respect to existing archaelogical and historical concerns. We will work closely with concerned local agencies, including the Kapolei Hawaiian Civic Club, to ensure protection of existing and newly found cultural sites. Our intent is keep clear of the archaeological sites in the reports as well as those recently identified to us by the Kapolei Hawaiian Civic Club It is our hope that we can work together to offer greater protection for these concerns while providing an expanded venue that will support the remainder of the events that occured at the former Hawaii Raceway Park. The only major construction will be the asphalt and dirt racing surfaces. All buildings and facilities will be portable.

Phase 2 Details:Tracks: 1/4th mile dirt oval, 1/8th Mile Drag Strip, Track Layout (max .07 mile course), 550x250ft. asphalt pad, R/C Track.
Expected Completion Date: Dependant on completion of Phase 1 and coordination with local agencies and civic clubs.
Supported Motorsports: Dirt, Drag, Drift, Go-Kart, Moto, R/C, and Road Racing. Additonal specialty events may be supported.
On-Site: Racing School, Basic Public Facilities

The archaeological map that I posted is from the actual report. Anyone with a brain in their head can see you can't fit a 1/4 mile dirt circle track in that area without covering over some of those sites.

It really is funny that you never mentioned "phase 2" or the "final phase" in your presentation 9/3/2008. What you all said was that you would only be building on the "cleared" side of the lot. Something very different than what you've been telling the racers.

That's because you're all a pack of liars.

Yes, I've heard that your "hui" have been deligently working on sabotaging the project. Anything that you can do to try to delay the racers from racing on a race track again.

i've seen these birds at night. they nest in the bushes and make a weird sounding cry. they can fly towards your headlights.. happened to us not long ago.

the dragstrip is having to decide on IF they run next month and if it would be during the day. these birds are forming a loose knit community against the racetrack apparently.. ROFL.. and they have a voice.

next month is supposed to be the last race of the season. next year they (GIRA) might have to start the year early.

there will be info on the Kauai Raceway Park website after the meeting of the board of directors.. which i believe is this week sometime.

just wanted to post this to let people know how a bird can threaten a racetrack

maybe they should move it near the airport... LOL

Well that's more bad news for P24, because I heard they have some endangered birds that nest over there too. That lot sure does have a lot of problems. :(

Yes you are right. That is very true. There's a small group of birds. Theyre called cuckoo birds.
