Apparently many racetrack developers are cut from the same cloth:

Hmmm. This part sounds familiar...

The debate included little discussion of Condren's professional past and Condren has remained guarded about his background and the project's financial backing, twice declining interviews with the Sun-Star for a profile story.

"We've got to build this so it does not impact the local racers and put them out of business," Oakland said. "I'm a grassroots racer myself, so this track will be designed for the little guy as well as for the big boys."

You know it's obvious that it didn't happen and even with the efforts that's being put forth now, it might be awhile before we see anything happening. So, why don't we just let it rest and concentrate on what's upcoming. It may not be a WCF, but it will be a multi-venue race facility.

And to say that it will be "grass-roots" is putting it mildly. We are very much homegrown and grass-roots and it will take the help of all of us to get it in gear and up-n-running.http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j180/jeanette96792/4_7_31.gif
