LATE BREAKING: Drag racer dies on Kauai 7/04/2009

Just got the news from the 4th of July drag event at Kauai Raceway Park had a fatal accident.

A drag racer crashed last night, Friday 7/03/2009. He seemed fine according to my source who is friends of the driver. He was walking and talking after the accident.

He was medivac to Honolulu over night and died this morning.

Will have more details as they become available.

Our Prayers go out to his family and friends.

The driver killed on Kauai is Rudy Ramos of Lihue Kauai.

He was driving an early year Corvette and in his 60's

He is also the business owner of Rudy Ramos Excavation & Garden Isle Portable Toilets.
