No, no. Davy's group is the INNOVATIVE guys who changed the 50th State Pro Gas name to the newly formed "OAHU" Pro Gas.
They have been trying to get the "FEEDLOT".
Too many different delusional groups. From one who claims to have put down $3 to $5 Million on HRP's property. To another that claims they have the investors and then throw in the P 9 and P 24 projects.
To a distributor of oil components telling everybody he meets that he is part of the group getting HRP back. He was called in to do electrical work to what ever and that they have everybody in place.
Kind of like the book of Revelation. "In the end days you will hear about wars and rumors of wars."
See my other post about Innovators, Imitators and IDIOTS
This is Frigen RIDICULOUS :D
People "ALL" Bsing everybody. Nothing is REALLY going on. Kind of like when the fall of the Soviet Union. Before it was just the USA and USSR. Now today we got all these rogue nations.
Same BS different IDIOTs.

lol @ davy's group. its not MY group. haha
ok so its like this. HIRP is a private company, i thought one of you would have at least ran a business search by now. OPGA is a non-profit. you know, like how the original SORT was/is.
both are going for the feed lot, each has different things to accomplish by certain dates. i know the owner of the company :D

i still haven't found out anything through the grapevine about the Kapolei Raceway, LLC other than what was reported. haven't heard the rumor about getting it back, yet. i carry my rubba boots and shorts with me just incase :D
i talked to more than a few circle track guys, the response was more than positive in regards to the feed lot and getting it done. personally, i think get plenty ROOM for dakine CT! time to buss out the crayons! haha
i'm surprised, you guys could also ask Evelyn whats going on, she's pretty sharp with the info as she understands what a non-profit is like and what they must go through in this particular process. she might even have my cell number on "speed" dial.. lol.. auuuryte  :D

wait, i thought you had the schedule. i don't have the link off hand but i believe its on their website. its like around April when the State decides on the bidder. ProGas has a lot of stuff to do, this all came down towards the ending of one year and its happening so fast.... right in the holidays when most are on vacation. ahhhhh.....

A NOT for profit maybe. A NON-profit means you are Federally recognized as a 501-c3.
"IF" you have a Business ATTORNEY and a CPA just to file with the DCCA and "THEN" you can file for a 501-c3 takes some DOING and
$ $ $ .
And then it STILL TAKES up to a YEAR before you can CALL yourself a REAL Non-Profit.
I also heard that Enomoto is going for that FEEDLOT too.

You better make sure that you have MILLIONs more for the EA / EIS, clean up and the permits. And that is BEFORE any serious building or laying of asphalt.
If anyone is lucky or in this case UNLUCKY to get that property it would be another 10 to 20 years before anything other than Methane from all the Cow Shit gets developed.
Then again all the HOT air circulating would be second. Maybe all that hot air might be able to dissipate cow shit, who knows

well.. the soil content, surveys, EIS, required permits all need to be addressed as it needs to be with this type of development. of course, being that its state land up for bid, there are time requirements to meet and guidlines to follow.
any kind of short cuts will be grounds to terminate the lease. so, no violation notices or the state will kick your azz out. two words that are important are "public demand".. which can be taken in two different ways... for or against. like you said, there's always people that will complain about whatever which is something you can always count on. how it is addressed is another part of the story.

I'll have to agree with Dirt Racer. Wouldn't it be better to join forces and put all effort together? I posted on that site to see what was going on as far as getting a track, and where? I didn't know what purpose it served.

Word on the street is there were some heavy hitters bidding on the Feedlot for industrial use with some major jing. That doesn't bode well for the racing groups. Dave will let us all know here when he gets the word. Right right?

i'm here dirt buddy :D... right! one of these days we'll all find a place that NOBODY ELSE wants!... LOL...
anyway, nothing says HIRP and OPGA can't work together. i'm curious to see the response over there, i just talked to Dana the other day.
to recap... basically what is going on here is a request for proposal process through the DLNR at the former ewa feedlot. so if you enter campbell industrial park passing the old HRP on your left, through the intersection, continue straight to the end of the road and you'll be looking right at the feedlot. it will be right in front of you behind those steel rusty buildings and trucks and it extends all the way down to the last storage tank on the left, diamond head side... which i believe is a tesoro tank.

interesting... one thing to keep in mind about the feedlot is that the State of Hawaii has the decision. so what they think will be the best use for the land is up to them, not us. they respond to public demand.
at this point, there is no indication that a racetrack WILL be built on the feedlot... by anyone.
with all this talk going around, i really hope people don't get their hopes up too high for no reason.
there is a line with keeping a positive attitude and keeping it real.

Like I am surprised that neither got past this initial first round. NOT
Tom Enomoto.
"AND" There is still no guarantee either. If DLNR did not get what they were hoping for as far as revenue generating, they can refuse the proposal and put the Feedlot back up on the auction block or best case scenario is to wait for when the economy rebounds for more lucrative offers.
