Because in Kauai, the races there do not allow electronics and they also have more variety of vehicles to watch and/or race against. And also unless you race in Maui or always up there for the races (like me) what you might be hearing is hearsay.

actually, i've prolly spent the least amount of money out there. the thousand bucks is all the events for 1 year @ $30 each and tires and springs. so, not bad at all.

you should see what kind of money people throw at their cars. nuts. this one cobra i run head to head with spent like $7K... AND i have a V6. LOL
