September 29 event Drivers Mtg

The drivers meeting for the upcoming September event will be Next Friday September 14 at 7pm to 8pm @ Kapolei HS.

We will be accepting the applications for the Spetember 29th event. If you pay the day of preregistration next Friday September 14 will be $65. If you pay the day of the event will now be $80. It was to hectic for the few staff we had.

This is a point race and this all leading up to the November 17 and 18 international event being sponsored by Pasha Transport and Pepsi.

Want to thank the drivers who showed up last night for pre-registration and to thank Aunty Evelyn of SORT who always supports us and arranged for the meeting place.

The July event we had 8 who pre-registered the day of and last night we had 29. Plus 2 young ladies will be participating too. Great to see them come out. A lot of familiar faces but a lot of new ones as well.

July we had 32 drivers and with this turn out I expect max capacity on September 29th.

Expect to see all of the states best. National competitors like Barry Wong, Gary Ganotisi and Shige are all expected to come out as well as a few more from Maui with our points leader Ron Freitas leading the way.

Good luck to everyone and thanks for participating. This September 29th event will set the field for the World Finals on November 17 and 18. We will have a lot of displays all over town and special pre-event functions leading up to that weekend and a lot of special guests from out of town will be arriving too.

Please be on your best behavior for the September 29th event as the Lt Governor Duke Aiona will be there as we tape a series of PSAs for the 2007 "Speed Safely" statewide ad campaign.
