Default WANTED: 454 BBC motor

Hey Guys, I am looking for a 454 BBC motor preferable NOT running.

Will pay $ $ $

NOT the truck version of the 454.

Let me know if you have one.

i might be able to find you one. long block, right? complete?

and how much you willing to spend?

i think we still have a 350 bored .60 over long block for $2000. we listed it on islandracer.com. its very nice, if you are interested, i can email you pics.

Not looking for a race motor. And a not running or tired motor is what I want.

It is for my TV production transport van. It is a retired Frito Lay van BUT the diesel motor well, has a HOLE in it.

oh, ok. i get choke relatives, one of my uncles has a yard in waianae. there were 454's there from cars, most not running. i'll check to see if they still have them and how much they want for it.

i'll post back if its a positive.

Let me know ASAP. I found a guy on Kauai complete long block 2 bolt main came from running tow truck but been sitting for couple of years + I can get the shipping sponsored. $500 My friend from GKRacing said the block numbers are good ones and we going verify the head numbers tonight. Got some friends who get friends and family on Kauai for check UM out for me and complete the transaction.

Hey Dave, I no like get one that get one hole or magnaflux the block or heads and stay cracked.

Going rebuild, make UM sound mean but gotta last cause I no like do this again. Plus we going be taping the build for one "Speed Shop" segment on PunishUM.

Hey Dave the one on Kauai is a "NO GO".

Got the casting numbers from the heads and it is what my friend from GKRacing said is the infamous "Peanut Ports" that all Chevy guys avoid. Can't make any decent HP numbers.

Let me know if you get some leads cause I am still looking.
